エミール・ブッシュ社は1792年にドイツのラテナウに設立された光学機器メーカーで、ソフト・フォーカスレンズ　ニコラ・ペルシャイドで有名です。
このグラウカー80ｍmは1918年ごろに映画用に製造されたレンズで、マウントはM39（ライカスクリューと同じ）です。距離計には連動する個体と、連動しない個体が存在します。
金色に輝く鏡胴が美しいレンズです。
描写は中央部分はかなりシャープで、周辺には若干の乱れが残り、また絞りがｆ5程度までしか絞られないため、元来ポートレート用であったものと想像されます。
グラウカーにはいくつかのバリエーションがあり、f2.5,f2.7,f2.8,f3.1,f3.5,f4.5,f5.0,f6.3などがあります。構成も複数あり、例えばｆ3.1のレンズは構成はトリプレットです。

Emil Busch AG was a Optical company established in 1792 at Rathenow in Germany which is famous for Nicola Perscheid soft focus lens.
This Glaukar 80mm was made around 1918 for movie camera with M39 (same with Leica screw) mount. Some are rangefinder coupled and some are not.
It is a very beautiful gold color lens.
Description in center area is sharp enough and some disorder blur is obserbed at peripheral area. I suppose this Glauker was for portrait picture.
Glauker has many variations as f2.5,f2.7,f2.8,f3.1,f3.5,f4.5,f5.0,f6.3. and also some variations of lens component, for example, f3.1 lens has Triplet component.

ライカＭ－Ｐ（M240)によって、この非連動の中望遠レンズもストレスなく使えるようになりました。
ただ、M9より拡大されたバッテリーとはなっていますが、終日ライブビューを使い続けるのは無理があるようです。すっきりとした画像で、透明感が感じられます。
周辺部はやはり多少流れますが、逆にリズム感のある画像にしてくれているように思います。

Using Leica M-P(M240), I could use this uncoupled middle length lens without stress.
But its battery could not last whole day using the Live View.
Its description is clear and feel transparency. The periphera area shows some disorder blur, for me it gives more rhythmical impression.

早咲きの桜も咲き始めたこの日は近くの西新井大師に出かけました。
この個体はライカに距離計連動しておりません。80ｍｍという中望遠で連動なしでの撮影は極めて困難ですので、簡易的な改造を施し、なんとか目安レベルでは距離計が使えるようにしました。
作例の描写はご覧のとおりで、若干コントラストは低め、弱いフレアがかかりますが、中央部はシャープです。周辺部はやや流れますが、非点収差の目立ったぐるぐるや、放射ボケはありません。

Went to Nishiarai Daishi Temple enjoying the start of early cherry blossoms and remaining plum blossoms.
This lens is not Leica rangefinder coupled.
Because it is so hard to get proper focus on Leica M9 without coupled rangefinder, I made small modificaion to the lens to facilitate very basic rangefinder.
From example photos, Contrast is not so high with small flare, but center area is sharp. Some disorder blur appears around peripheral area, but no swirling bokeh or radial bokeh from astigmatism is shown.
